CFA Day of the girl 2026

We hosted six learners across two All Weather offices for CFA Day of the Girl 2026. Minerva Secondary School (JHB) and Cape Town High School (CPT)

Cape Town High School (CPT)

We hosted two Grade 11 students, Likhanye and Siyanda, from Cape Town High School at our Cape Town offices on 15 October 2026. The girls spent the day learning about the various job opportunities in the asset management world. They enjoyed interactive demonstrations showcasing how hedge funds work, as well as hearing personal testimonies from our inspiring female staff.

The day was a great success, and the girls left feeling inspired to pursue careers in asset management, with their eyes wide open.

Minerva Secondary School (JHB)

As part of CFA Society South Africa’s Day of the Girl Job Shadowing initiative, All Weather Capital hosted four Grade 11 learners from Minerva Secondary School, Nhlanhla, Azomila, Karabo and Phiwokuhle, at our Johannesburg offices on 15 October 2026. Throughout the day, they met the people behind the investment process and gained insight into the many career paths that support it. From portfolio managers and traders to AI and data engineers, business development and ESG professionals , the learners experienced firsthand how diverse skills and perspectives come together to deliver better investment outcomes. Every conversation reinforced one message: the investment industry has a place for talented young women like them.
